Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) helps to accelerate tissue healing, increase circulation, reduce pain and decrease inflammation.

Low level laser therapy or LLLT is a non-invasive light source of treatment that generates a single wavelength of light. It emits no sound, heat or vibration. It is believed to affect the function of connective tissue cells called fibroblasts, accelerate connective tissue repair and act as an anti-inflammatory agent.

Here at Multi Care we use a Class III low level laser which is known to have a good effect on pain, inflammation and tissue repair.

The purpose of Low Level Laser Therapy is to

  • Reduce inflammation (can occur within hours or days)
